Nike has been reporting the release of a new Metcon 3 X shoe since early July, however today is the day they dropped the Black X Gold collection. The Oregon based mega-brand is constantly pushing new activewear and sports apparel, but this one specifically caught our eye. With reigning CrossFit Games Champion, Mat Fraser, as the face of the drop, we knew this one was for the fire breathers.
The Nike Black X Gold collection features eight products, including new Metcons and Romaleos, trainings tops, shorts, socks, and a backpack. No significant changes were made to the training footwear, however this is what Nike had to say about the new release:
