Gift Guide: For the Crossfitter

NoBull Lifters

This newer brand has been sky rocketing in the Crossfit world and for good reason – they make quality products that perform as well as they look. Their new Black Lifters are no exception. They are handmade of the finest, quality leather, and at least “two to three hours of precise handwork goes into each heel and outsole.” These are made for the serious Olympic lifter who will be cleaning and snatching for years to come.

Hylete Flexion Jacket

Hylete was one of the first brands dedicated strictly to the WODers. It’s grown over time and it’s products have evolved with it. Their latest release, the Flexion Collection, is a reflection of how they’ve grown from a one trick pony (their flagship shorts) to an entire Crossfit lifestyle brand. The Flexion jacket uses specific technical material for temperature regulation, and angular panels and contrast fabric stretch zones provide superior comfort throughout the seasons without compromising mobility. It also includes a thoughtfully placed media sleeve pocket, exterior slash pockets, and internal stash pockets.

Rogue SR-1 BEARING SPEED ROPE

If we’ve come to know one thing about Rogue, it’s that they build quality shit that lasts. The SR-1 is the perfect speed rope to master those Double-Unders and will stand up to hours of revolutions. It’s also available in short and long handle lengths depending on your size and preference. Skip on, Skippy!

Lululemon License to Train Pant

You can say what you want about Lulu, but the truth is, they make insanely nice workout wear. Their latest release is the License To Train line, which was created specifically for those who train with barbells..aka Crossfiters. The pants feature a specific material on the front panels to resist barbell abrasion, and the fabric is also sweat-wicking, four-way stretch, and water repellent. Not a bad option for those cold nights of Hang Cleans and Snatches in the box.

NoBull Duffleback

Sometimes you want a duffle bag, sometimes you want a backpack. Sometimes you need both. NoBull put an end to this dilemma with the Duffleback. Its a duffle bag with the option to carry it on your back. Its got backpack straps, an internal padded laptop pocket, external and internal zipper pockets, and is fully customizable to fit whatever you’ve got. It also features a ballistic nylon exterior, waterproof coated vinyl, and mesh interior. We like what you’re putting down, NoBull.

Reebok Crossfit Pro Short

These are probably the best Crossfit shorts Reebok has ever made. They were designed and tested by Crossfit Games athletes and are built to stand up to any workout, no matter how intense. They’ve got bonded seams and reinforced inseams with friction-free fabric for impecible comfort and durability. And if you’re the sweaty type, because who isn’t after any WOD, they’ve got an odor and wetness protection coating. With a slim-fit and 9″ inseam, these will sit just above the knee.

STOCKING STUFFERS:

Mobility Wod Supernova

If you’re going to be thrashing your body day after day with barbells, kettlebells, and box jumps, you’ve got to put the time in to recovery. Thank God for Kelly Starrett and his almighty Mobility WOD, or we’d be in and out of  PT way more than we’d like. The Supernova was built to massage and break down those tight muscles you’ve worked so hard to build up. We like the smaller Supernova (80mm) because you can really pin point those trouble spots and get ’em out for good.

Rogue Wrist Wraps

Cleans, Jerks, Overhead Squats. They’re all regulars in the Crossfit lineup and could rear up any day of the week. Protect your wrists from all that flexion with a pair of wrist wraps. We like the ones from Rogue because they’re available in three different lengths and multiple colors. The “White Series” is our go-to because they’re 30% stiffer than the standard Rogue wraps. Yea, we go hard.

Happy Holidays from DG.
